
Chicago Fire Soccer: The Chicago Fire Football Club is a United States soccer club from the city of Chicago, in the state of Illinois. It was founded on October 8, 1997, and currently plays in Major League Soccer (MLS) in the Eastern Conference.
History of Chicago Fire Soccer:
The club played its first seasons at Soldier Field. in 2002 the team played at a stadium in Naperville, Illinois. Since 2006, the club plays Toyota Park in its stadium. Its old logo was a fire patrol.
In 1998, they won their first MLS Cup by defeating them in the final against D.C. United by 2 goals to 0. They have also won the U.S. Open Cup in the years 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2006.

Fire FC is proud to present its new brand identity and new flagship as the Club prepares for its move to Soldier Field in 2020.
As part of its new identity, the Club will now be formally popular as the Fire Football Club. Now they will be using the Chicago FC in the first instance and in the same way on the shield.
The change from “soccer” to “football” reflects a long-term vision for the Club as Chicago’s global ambassador to the world game.
“As a Chicagoan, it is important to me that our new identity reflects the power of our city’s origin,” said Chicago Fire FC owner Joe Mansueto.
“I’ve always liked the name of the Chicago Fire. I think of the people who rolled up their sleeves and vowed to rebuild what would become a world-class city, one that my family and I love so much. The new shield that includes the Crown of Fire represents that spirit”.
