The Minnesota United FC is a football team from the United States that plays in American Soccer League, the most important soccer league in the country.

It was founded on February 5, 2010, in the city of Minneapolis-Saint Paul with the name NSC Minnesota Stars and took the place of the Minnesota Thunder. That had to leave the league due to financial problems.

History of Minnesota United FC:

On 25th March 2015, Major League Soccer (MSL) commissioner Don Garber had declared Minnesota United as the league’s 23rd club and there was awarded the franchise to a group led by McGuire.

The Stars announced that for the 2011 season the team would no longer be owned by the National Sports Center, but by the North American Soccer League.

On 9th January 2012, the club announced a new logo, as well as a new name. The NSC portion of the name that had led to the confusion, dropped with the new name is that of Minnesota Stars FC.

 Minnesota United FC Adidas Away Kit 2019:

The new visitor design of Minnesota United will use the colors white and light blue in a simple V-neck t-shirt.

The color of the jersey is mostly white, leaving in blue a line at the back of the neck, the top of the sleeves and Adidas bands on the sides.

The sponsor’s logo of the brand on the chest and the detail of the bird symbol of the state of Minnesota at the top of the back. Finally, silver will be the acronym of the team on one side at the waist. Shorts and socks will remain in the same three colors. Read more about MLS here.
